Elon Musk wants to go to Mars by 2025, 10 years earlier than NASA.

During a forum held at the StartmeupHK Festival in Hong Kong, Elon Musk mentioned that he’ll share his plan for Mars in September at the International Astronomical Conference. He mentions in the video below that he’ll share his official plans for Mars settlement that he wants to achieve in 2025, a full 9 years before NASA.

As the Popular Science article states, NASA is dealing with harsh criticisms on their planned Journey to Mars and the problems with, or lack of, technology. Musk isn’t one to take a challenge lightly and he’s fully aware of the obstacles his company has to overcome to start its settlement on the red planet. We’ll all be anxiously awaiting his proposal announcement this September and how he plans to achieve it in such a short time frame.

Check out the full interview with Musk below. There are some great insights for those turning big dreams into achievable goals.
