Animated Ceres flight shows stunning planetary craters.

Ceres (pronounced series), the icy dwarf planet in orbit between Mars and Jupiter, is back in the spotlight again. Following the stunning images from the Dawn spacecraft last spring, NASA has created a simulated flyover animation featuring spectacular craters like Occator and Ikapati. The video below will show in stunning, but enhanced, detail the tiny planet like you’ve never seen it before. Take a look!
